On the evening of June 4, at Saigon Station, Ho Chi Minh City solemnly held a ceremony for the delegation of officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 7 to go to Hanoi, participate in training, parade - parade in the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
The group includes more than 700 outstanding officers and soldiers from the heavily armed regimental male soldiers; the heavily mobilized female soldiers and the Southern female campaigners. Previously, the delegation held an incense offering ceremony at Uncle Ho Monument in the grounds of the Military Region 7 Command.
At the station, the farewell atmosphere between the soldiers and their relatives and friends took place emotionally. The choking hugs and hasty instructions before the train rolls created a warm and affectionate scene.
Soldier Nguyen Thi Phuc, from the Southern Women's Duong Dinh, shared: "This is the first time I have participated in such a big event. I felt very proud, but I couldn't help but feel nervous when I had to be away from my family for nearly 3 months. Before the train started, my mother held my hand and told me: "Let's go steadily, because you are representing the beloved South". I will follow my mother's words to complete the task well".
Soldier Bui Thi Phuong Ngoc belongs to Saigon Soldier Soldier, who has just participated in the A50 Parade Ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30, 2025 this time continues to be in the A80 squad. She expressed her honor to be chosen for the second time in the same year for two important events of the country. "Being present in the two biggest parade ceremonies in 2025 is not everyone has the opportunity. I am proud to be once again representing the Southern Soldier, for the younger generation to bring the uniform. Each step I will be an affirmation of the bravery, the love of the Fatherland and the belief in the people's armed forces."
The ceremony was attended by leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and many delegates representing departments, branches, women's unions, youth unions and students of Ho Chi Minh City. Activities such as giving flowers, souvenirs, hanging banners, and cheering billboards have been carefully prepared, demonstrating the trust and expectations of the Party Committee, government and people of the City in the armed forces.
According to the plan, the group will train at the National Military Training Center 4 and Army Officer School 1, before officially parading at Ba Dinh Square on the occasion of National Day, September 2. The group is expected to return to Ho Chi Minh City on September 3, 2025.
