On July 24, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Vu Manh Dinh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoi Phu Ward (Gia Lai) - said that the ward authorities had inspected the scene of the Duc Long Inter-provincial Bus Station fence collapsing suddenly, causing damage to people's property.

Initial information said that at around 5:25 a.m. the same day, people living near the area heard a loud noise. After that, a 43m long fence of the bus station was discovered collapsing into the warehouse of Mr. N.V.T's family at 39/22 Ly Nam De Street, Hoi Phu Ward.
At the time of the incident, there was heavy rain and water flowing rapidly in the area. According to the residents, a loud noise was made right before the wall collapsed. The incident did not cause any casualties, but caused damage to many properties in the warehouse.

According to records, the collapsed warehouse contained many valuable assets such as 3 Air Blade motorbikes, 1 bicycle, 2 gas cylinders, 1 power may and many other household items.
Immediately after the incident, representatives of Duc Long Inter-provincial Bus Station were present at the scene to coordinate with Mr. T's family to count the damage and discuss solutions.

The People's Committee of Hoi Phu Ward sent forces to inspect the scene, clarify the cause and verify the loud noise that issued before the fence collapsed.
"The collapsed fence caused damage to many properties of Mr. T's family. I have requested the bus station to urgently repair and compensate the people," said Mr. Dinh.
According to the Chairman of Hoi Phu Ward People's Committee, this wall was built a long time ago and is no longer solid. In addition, Ly Nam De Street does not have a drainage system and sidewalks, causing rainwater to easily stagnate, seeping into the wall foundation, weakening the structure.
"We will study a plan to add drainage to this route to limit similar risks in the future," Mr. Dinh informed.
"In the near future, we will research and add drainage pipes to this route," said Mr. Dinh.
