On April 29, on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026), a central working delegation led by Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, visited and presented gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services in Lang Son province.
At the program, the delegation handed over 200 gifts to injured soldiers, families with meritorious services, poor and near-poor households, and workers in difficult circumstances.

On behalf of the locality, the Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee expressed his gratitude for the attention and close direction of the Central working delegation, considering this a great source of encouragement for the army and people of the province during the important holiday of the country.
On the same day, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Kim (residing in block 5, Dong Kinh ward).
Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh cordially inquired about the health and life of the Mother and her family.
The sacrifice of families in the struggle to protect the Fatherland is priceless. I hope Mother always lives happily and healthily to be a spiritual support, a bright example for the younger generation to follow," Mr. Thanh shared.
Central leaders also reminded generations of children and grandchildren of policy families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.
