12 stone and sand and gravel quarries have been successfully auctioned with a total amount of about 600 billion VND. Winning prices were pushed up very high compared to the starting price.
At that time, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ha Giang province conducted a review, the results showed that 7 quarries of stone, sand and gravel had winning bids many times higher than the starting price. The lowest increase was 20.1 times and the highest was 80.15 times.
The People's Committee of Ha Giang province has issued a document directing units to request a review of documents and implementation of the organization related to the auction of mineral exploitation rights in cases where the price is many times higher than the starting price.
