Ha Tinh - After proposing compensation for households with houses and constructions cracked and affected by the construction of the North - South expressway, some households have not yet agreed.

On March 18, Mr. Nguyen Khac Trung - Executive Director of the North - South expressway project, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section, said that the list of households with cracked houses and works affected by expressway construction has been made public and notified to them.

However, there are still some households that have not agreed with the damage statistics, while others have not agreed with the compensation price.

Regarding the incident, the investor will continue to propagate and explain to households to understand that the compensation price is according to state regulations, and they cannot increase it if they want to.

"It is expected that from the 20th to the 25th of next year, we will make payments to households that have agreed," Mr. Trung shared.

According to Mr. Trung, through calculation and appraisal by the Insurance agency, the total compensation for households with houses and works affected by the construction of the North - South expressway, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section, is nearly 1.6 billion VND.

As Lao Dong has reported, the impact on the construction of the North-South expressway, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section, has caused 158 households in Cam Xuyen district and 4 households in Ky Anh district to have cracked houses and works.

People hope that relevant units will soon pay compensation so that they have funds to repair houses and works to ensure safety for daily life.
