On May 13, Can Tho City Police organized a house handover ceremony for people in difficult housing circumstances in the program to support the construction of 1,000 houses implemented by the unit mobilizing socialized resources.
These are the first houses completed after the groundbreaking ceremony of the 1,000 house construction support program organized by the City Police on March 13.
The handover ceremony was held simultaneously at 3 locations including: Tan Binh commune, Binh Thuy ward and Phu Loi ward.
The program to support the construction of 1,000 houses is implemented from mobilized sources, mobilizing socialized resources launched by Can Tho City Police to care for and support officers and soldiers of the City Police, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, members of the Former People's Police Association, policy families, poor households and near-poor households still facing housing difficulties in the area.
After nearly two months of construction deployment with a spirit of urgency and responsibility, the houses supporting forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level with difficult housing circumstances have been completed, ensuring progress and quality to be promptly handed over and put into use.
Leaders of Can Tho City Police affirmed that the program not only carries the meaning of material support but also shows the responsibility, affection and sharing of the Police force with the people, officers, soldiers and forces participating in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.
Thereby, contributing to helping families stabilize their accommodation, feel secure in working, producing and working, and continue to accompany the Police force in the movement "All people protect national security".
