On the evening of June 18, heavy rain occurred on a large scale in the northern area of Ho Chi Minh City. Prolonged heavy rain caused localized flooding in many low-lying areas.
In Thuan Giao ward, the area of the Ho Van Men intersection with National Highway 13 was locally flooded. This caused traffic on National Highway 13, Hoa Lan intersection, Viet Huong Industrial Park intersection and many adjacent roads to be prolonged congested.
Immediately after grasping the situation, Thuan Giao Ward Police sent officers to the congestion points to regulate traffic and support people to travel safely.
On National Highway 13, the section passing through Viet Huong Industrial Park, the task force of Thuan Giao Ward Police discovered an ambulance stalled amidst a crowded traffic flow.

The task force immediately deployed traffic diversion, supporting the ambulance to be brought to a safe location. When it was discovered that the ambulance was carrying a transferred patient in a situation requiring emergency treatment, the task force continued to coordinate with the medical unit to contact a replacement vehicle to ensure that the transfer was not interrupted.
After that, another ambulance arrived in time. Thuan Giao Ward Police and Binh Giao neighborhood security and order forces supported doctors and nurses to quickly transfer the patient to a new car to continue the journey to the hospital for treatment.
According to records, recently, on National Highway 13, every time it rains heavily, the section passing through the intersection with the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City often experiences traffic congestion.
