On February 8, a working delegation of the Provincial Police led by Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, visited, encouraged and unexpectedly rewarded Binh Duc Ward Police for their outstanding achievements in the peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes and arresting wanted subjects.
Previously, on January 26, 2026, during a general inspection and review of residence at Group 26, Binh Khanh 4 hamlet, Binh Duc ward, the Binh Duc Ward Police Task Force discovered Nguyen Huu Hau (born 2004, residing in Binh Khanh 4 hamlet, Binh Duc ward) showing suspicious signs, so they invited him to the Police headquarters to work.
Through verification, functional forces determined that Nguyen Huu Hau was the subject who had previously come to the house of Ms. T.T. L (born 1954) with 3 unidentified young men to throw Molotov cocktails at the house on April 8, 2024, after which Hau fled. During the investigation, the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police issued an arrest warrant for Nguyen Huu Hau for the act of "Disturbing public order".
With the achievements of the Binh Duc Ward Police force, it has made an important contribution to ensuring social order and safety, for the peace of the people. To recognize and encourage the spirit of the officers and soldiers of the Ward Police, the Director of the Provincial Police decided to commend the collective of the Ward Police.
Also on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, sent New Year greetings and presented a meaningful gift to the collective of Binh Duc Ward Police.
