On February 3, Mr. Tran Minh Khoa - Chairman of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone People's Committee (An Giang) said that the special economic zone police are investigating and verifying the case of a woman (at H.H private kindergarten) beating a child that was spread on social networks.
The People's Committee of the special zone also directed the Department of Culture and Society to come to this private preschool facility to inspect and clarify the incident of beating children as in the posted clip. At the working session, the leaders of the Phu Quoc Special Zone Department of Culture and Society requested the facility owner to complete the dossier to establish a childcare group and temporarily suspend the operation of the childcare group until a decision is issued to establish a new group to operate again.
At the time of inspection, H private kindergarten had an area of 80m2, 32 students, including 22 children aged 18 to 36 months, 10 children aged 4-5 years, the facility had 7 people including teachers, nannies and service staff.
Previously, a video clip appeared on social networks recording the scene of a woman using her hand to hit the baby boy's body many times, using her hand to hold the baby's head.
The case is currently awaiting investigation and clarification.
