At around 7:00 p.m. on September 25, Bo De Ward Police (Hanoi City) received and resolved an incident involving a foreign tourist.
This British tourist unfortunately lost his phone on the way to Bangkok (Thailand) airport to Hanoi. Because all the information about booking a hotel is stored in his personal email and phone, this person fell into a difficult situation: he could not remember the hotel's name and address booked through Booking.com and there was no means of communication.
As soon as they landed at Noi Bai airport and moved to the center of Hanoi, the tourists went to the Bo De Ward Police headquarters to ask for help.
After receiving the information, Captain Le Van Nam - an officer of the Security Team of Bo De Ward Police encouraged the tourists to stabilize their spirits and urgently find ways to overcome the difficulties.
Captain Nam quickly looked up information online, and proactively contacted a number of large travel and hotel companies in Hanoi for review. After about an hour of effort, with flexibility and responsibility, he was able to pinpoint the contact information and hotel address that the British guest had booked before.
Not only that, Captain Nam also proactively booked a taxi, directly guided and supported tourists to return to their accommodation safely. The tourists were surprised and admired the support and service spirit of the Bo De Ward Police soldiers and wrote a letter of thanks.
The timely, dedicated and responsible actions of Captain Le Van Nam have left a good impression on international tourists when coming to the capital.
