On March 21, Quang Truc Commune Police (Lam Dong) said they are coordinating with functional agencies to handle 9 homemade guns and hundreds of bullets and explosives of various types.
According to Quang Truc Commune Police, in the past time, the unit has promoted propaganda about the harms of illegal possession and use of weapons and explosives; and at the same time sent officials to each household to mobilize handover to ensure safety.
Through mobilization, people voluntarily handed over 9 homemade guns, 365 lead bullets, 32 military ammunition, 1 artillery shell, 3kg of explosives and some slow-burning fuses and detonators.
The police agency believes that if not detected and recovered in time, the above weapons and explosives pose a risk of insecurity and disorder, which may lead to violations of the law and serious consequences.
