On March 21, at the National Assembly House, the National Election Council held a press conference to announce the National Election Council's Resolution on election results and the list of people elected as National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term.
Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh - Member of the National Election Council chaired the press conference.
Also attending the press conference were the Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen of the National Assembly's Committees.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended the press conference.
At the press conference, Mr. Le Quang Manh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Office announced the Resolution on announcing the election results and the list of people elected as National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term.
Accordingly, on behalf of the National Election Council, Politburo Member, Chairman of the National Election Council - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed a Resolution on announcing the election results and the list of people elected as National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term.
The Resolution clearly states that the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Election Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities, relevant agencies and individuals are responsible for implementing this Resolution.
The total number of lists of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term approved by the National Election Council includes 500 people.
