In the afternoon of March 21, the National Election Council held a press conference to announce the Resolution on election results and the list of people elected as National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term.
Providing information about the election results, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Deputy Affairs Committee Nguyen Huu Dong - Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Personnel Sub-Committee of the National Election Council - said that this is also the first time our National Assembly has had representatives of the O Du ethnic group - one of the smallest ethnic groups in Vietnam; the proportion of female elected deputies continues to reach a high level (30%).
According to the list announced by the National Election Council, the Ơ Đu ethnic delegate, Ms. Lo Thi Bao Vy, was elected in constituency No. 1, Nghe An province.
The No. 1 electoral unit of Nghe An province includes the communes: Muong Tip, My Ly, Muong Xen, Nam Can, Huu Kiem, Muong Long, Keng Du, Na Loi, Na Ngoi, Chieu Luu, Huoi Tu, Bac Ly, Nhon Mai, Yen Na, Nga My, Tuong Duong, Tam Thai, Tam Quang, Luong Minh, Yen Hoa, Huu Khuong, Con Cuong, Chau Khe, Mau Thach, Mon Son, Binh Chuan, Cam Phuc, Yen Xuan, Vinh Tuong, Anh Son Dong, Anh Son, Nhan Hoa, Thanh Binh Tho.

Ms. Lo Thi Bao Vy was born in March 24, 2002, native of Nga My commune, Nghe An province. She has a professional qualification from the University of Pedagogy, majoring in Primary Education, and is currently a teacher at Quynh Lap A Primary School, Tan Mai ward, Nghe An province.
Teacher Lo Thi Bao Vy is one of the 7 youngest female National Assembly Deputies in the country and also the youngest National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term.
In the action program of the National Assembly Deputy candidate, female primary school teachers pay special attention to policies related to education to ensure that all children, especially in remote, isolated, and ethnic minority areas, have the opportunity to study more safely and fully.
The O Du ethnic group is one of the particularly smallest minority communities in Vietnam, also known as Tay Hat, belonging to the Mon-Khmer language group.
In Nghe An province, there are 6 electoral units with 28 candidates for the 16th National Assembly. According to regulations, this province is allowed to elect 16 deputies.
