The conference was co-chaired by Major General Vu Van Dau - Director of the Provincial Police and Mr. Vu Tien Dat - Director of the Department of Home Affairs, with the participation of nearly 50 delegates from two units.
At the conference, delegates focused on exchanging and agreeing on tasks and solutions to improve the effectiveness of coordination between the Provincial Police and the Department of Home Affairs in performing assigned tasks.
Accordingly, the two units will strengthen exchange and information sharing; proactively grasp the situation, promptly detect, prevent and advise on handling issues related to security and order in the field of internal affairs.
The signing of the coordination plan is identified as an important basis for the two agencies to build a close, regular, unified and effective coordination mechanism.
Thereby, promoting the role and responsibility of each unit, especially in exchanging information and advising on handling problems arising right from the grassroots level.
The two sides aim to proactively prevent and avoid passive and unexpected situations, contributing to maintaining security and order and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the area.
Based on the agreed contents, the Provincial Police and the Dien Bien Department of Home Affairs will proactively deploy coordination tasks in accordance with their functions, authority and legal regulations.
The coordinated contents are required to ensure practicality, timeliness, and suitability to the actual situation of the locality.
Through the coordination mechanism, the two units expect to improve the efficiency of state management, contributing to serving socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, and maintaining stability in Dien Bien province.
