In recent days, the weather has been complicated, prolonged rain has caused landslides, affecting traffic and people's lives in some localities in Lao Cai province.
In Che Tao commune, after about a week of continuous rain, on July 10, the inter-village road from Che Tao to Ta Dong appeared many landslide points. Soil and rocks spilled onto the road surface, causing traffic jams and affecting people's travel.

Faced with the above situation, Che Tao Commune Police mobilized 6 officers, soldiers and youth union members to the scene, organizing the clearance of landslide soil and rocks.
After a morning, functional forces moved about 5m3 of soil and rock in the Che Tao village area, clearing the inter-village road, helping people travel safely.
Meanwhile, in Yen Thanh commune, at about 4 pm on July 12, thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds caused the house of Mr. Ban Van An's family (born in 1964, residing in Khe Can village) to have its roof blown off and heavily damaged.
After the storm, the house was no longer safe to continue living, causing Mr. An's family's life to face many difficulties.

On July 13, Yen Thanh Commune Police mobilized 5 officers and soldiers to support the family in dismantling a damaged stilt house of about 120m2.
Officers, soldiers and people collect materials, move property to safe places, limit the risk of incidents and help families soon stabilize their lives.
Previously, Mu Cang Chai Commune Police mobilized more than 30 turns of officers and soldiers and about 100 turns of forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to handle landslide points, divert traffic and overcome the consequences of floods.
