The incident occurred on the afternoon of December 9. During a patrol and control on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, Traffic Police Team No. 5 (under the Expressway Traffic Police Team No. 7) discovered a sleeper bus signaling an emergency cry for help in the Km27 area.
The authorities immediately approached the vehicle and discovered that the male passenger, Mr. N.V.L (born in 1956, from An Giang) was in critical condition. The victim showed signs of apnea, foaming at the edge and fatigue, her life was threatened every second.
Faced with the situation of "weights hanging from hair strands", officers and soldiers in the Working Group quickly reassured the family and took initial first aid measures. At the same time, the Working Group immediately reported to the commander and deployed a support plan to take the patient to Tan An General Hospital for emergency care.
Thanks to the decisive and timely actions of the traffic police, the patient was taken to the hospital in "golden time". Doctors diagnosed Mr. L. as at risk of acute heart failure or myocardial infarction, which could lead to death if delayed.
Up to now, according to information from the hospital, Mr. L. has passed the critical stage and is continuing to be monitored and treated.
