The situation of cars entering the emergency lane of the elevated Ring Road 3 (Hanoi) has tended to decrease compared to before. However, at certain times of the day, especially during peak hours, violations still appear.
The Commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police said that Ring Road 3 has been supplemented with many traffic surveillance cameras to issue fines. However, the unit still sends working groups to use special vehicles to regularly patrol, record and directly handle cases of intentional violations.
Accordingly, every day, the unit will deploy many motorbike or car groups on Ring Road 3 at the same time, using specialized cameras to record violating vehicles.
When detecting violations, the patrol team records vehicle license plates to the working group on duty at the entrances to the low Ring Road 3 to stop the vehicle for handling or send a notice of fine.

"D front-end handling as a reminder for drivers must always comply, any violations will be recorded and strictly handled. In recent times, this form of treatment has been highly effective.
In the coming time, we will continue to synchronously deploy solutions to raise awareness of traffic participants, minimizing violations," said Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Binh - Deputy Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6.

Recorded on September 8, a number of cases of cars entering the emergency lane of Ring Road 3 were detected and handled. The drivers were all "disguised" when the police showed them photos of the violation.
In addition, the traffic police will also extract images from surveillance cameras installed on vehicles to promptly detect driver violations, such as using a phone while driving, stopping and dropping off passengers in the wrong place for passenger vehicles...
According to Decree 168, the act of entering an emergency lane (urgent lane) on the highway for cars will be fined from 4 - 6 million VND, deducting 2 points from the driver's license.
