On May 7, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council attended a meeting with voters after the first session of the 16th National Assembly of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation (Group 1), in Thu Dau Mot, Phu Loi, Binh Duong, Chanh Hiep and Phu An wards.
At the meeting, voters proposed many issues related to traffic infrastructure, flooding, and labor-related issues.
Notably, voter T.T. T in Phu An ward reflected many difficulties when registering for social insurance (BHXH) withdrawal. Voter T had quit his job for 12 months, when he came to the social insurance facility, he could not meet the staff but only the security guard guided him. The security guard guided him to scan the QR code, but the transmission was slow, and he struggled for a long time at home before being able to do it. However, he then received a notice that it would be his turn to resolve it 3 months later.
At the meeting with voters, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, said that the fact that people register to withdraw social insurance but have to wait 3 months to be resolved is unacceptable. Mr. Vo Van Minh requested social insurance leaders to prepare a report to send to city leaders, and at the same time directed grassroots social insurance units to immediately handle this situation within 3 days.

Discussing the above issue, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hieu - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance said that Ho Chi Minh City currently has 33 social insurance establishments, of which the old Binh Duong area has 7 establishments, and people can go to any establishment to complete procedures.
According to the leader of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, previously, people in Binh Duong often gathered at the provincial Social Insurance to submit dossiers. Currently, the Binh Duong Social Insurance facility only manages some surrounding wards, but people still follow the habit of coming here, causing the unit to be overloaded and prolong the dossier processing time.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Hieu encouraged people to choose social insurance facilities in neighboring areas to reduce pressure on Binh Duong Social Insurance facilities.

On the afternoon of May 7, in an exchange with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hieu added that the above incident was that voters booked appointments through the app without submitting applications. The reason is that many people have already booked, so the person registering later, the app will arrange the appointment later.
In addition, the appointment time for settlement also depends on each place where people make appointments.
Currently, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance have directed officials to contact to immediately handle cases reflected by voters.
