Recorded by Lao Dong at the campus of Luong The Vinh Primary School (Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the atmosphere was bustling and full of excitement when many veterans, youth unions and ward residents attended the A80 rehearsal online.

In order to create conditions for the ward residents to join in the heroic atmosphere of National Day on September 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Hung ward has equipped a screens for people to watch the parade.
Mr. Khau Thien Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Hung Ward - said that this location has screens, so people come to see it as a safe place, without worrying about rain or wind, and conveniently to watch the program.
People come here not only to see but also to attend the launching ceremony of the ward's social security center. Today coincides with the general rehearsal program, so people in the ward can attend the event and watch the general rehearsal live.
"This is the A80 rehearsal - a major national event, so everyone is proud to witness it. In general, everyone felt proud, and so did I. My family has a tradition of resistance. Therefore, every time there are events like this, emotions rise, recalling the heroic moments and contributions of our ancestors in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" - Mr. Khoi Thien Thanh shared.
From morning, everyone was present to watch the rehearsal of the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade for the 80th anniversary of National Day. Everyone was watching attentively through the screen, their eyes full of excitement and pride.

Although he only watched it on screen, Mr. Le Van Tai - Chairman of the Veterans Association of Tan Hung Ward - could not help but be moved. He said that he had participated in the resistance war, now that the country is preparing to enter a big holiday, even though he is not present in Hanoi to join in the atmosphere, he still clearly feels the pride and excitement.
"We, the veterans, have been waiting for this event for many months. During activities and meetings, the brothers all expressed their desire to watch live, but due to conditions, they could only watch on TV. However, through the recent rehearsals, everyone has been watching closely. The brothers clearly see that current weapons and defense equipment have been greatly developed, strongly modernized, and can meet the requirements of the tasks in the coming time. That makes us very happy" - Mr. Tai said.

The veterans also expressed that in the past few days, the A80 atmosphere in Hanoi has spread as bustlingly as it has in the South. From North to South, the whole country is vibrant, joyful, and excitedly waiting for the holiday.
Although I have not directly witnessed it at Ba Dinh Square, every time I see the image of the parade, I still clearly feel the pride and growth of the Vietnam People's Army. I recall the opportunity to directly watch the parade at the recent 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. When comparing, it is clear that the strength of our army today is constantly developing, both in terms of numbers and weapons, and equipment is increasingly modern. That made me very excited and proud" - veteran Pham Thanh Quyen shared.
