Previously, at 3:30 p.m. on November 10, at Sao Bien beach, people discovered two people drowning while swimming. The Da Nang coastal rescue force and local people urgently responded and tried to bring the two people to shore. The force successfully rescued P.D.M (born in 2010, a student, residing in Hoa Chau commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city) and took them to the hospital for emergency treatment. Meanwhile, D.V.K.D (born in 2010, a student, residing on Nguyen Nhan street, Cam Le district, Da Nang city) is still missing. Currently, the Border Guard, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, the authorities and local people are still urgently searching for the missing people.
According to Non Nuoc Border Guard Station (Da Nang City Border Guard), after receiving the report, from the afternoon of November 10 to the morning of November 11, the unit deployed 40 officers and soldiers with jet skis and canoes to urgently search for the missing person. However, due to the weather with big waves and strong winds, the rescue coordination was difficult, and by 11:00 a.m. on November 11, the missing person had not been found.
