On the afternoon of August 31, at the Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 136/2024 of the National Assembly on Da Nang City, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee - said that Da Nang City is pleased to receive mechanisms and policies that are both unique and have great breakthroughs in socio-economic development.
However, it is also clear that there are responsibilities, difficulties and challenges in implementing these policies in practice, especially many very new and unprecedented issues such as: Free trade zones; pilot financial mechanisms; carbon credit offset exchange; attracting strategic investors in some semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries...
The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee said that if Da Nang successfully organizes these breakthrough mechanisms, it will contribute to building and implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, and will be the basis for competent authorities to decide to deploy in other localities.
Therefore, fully aware of the importance of implementing Resolution 136, the Prime Minister has paid attention and decided to establish a Steering Committee to implement Resolution 136. This is both a driving force and an opportunity for the city to quickly and effectively implement Resolution 136.
To effectively implement Resolution No. 136, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang suggested that the entire political system needs to promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, proactiveness and aspiration to rise up in implementing the Resolution.
In addition to implementing Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15, the city also determined to focus on drastically implementing socio-economic development tasks, striving to achieve the highest goals set out in the Resolution of the 22nd City Party Congress.
"I believe that with the aspiration to rise, the determination, solidarity and unanimity of the Party Committee, the government and the people of the city, the attention and leadership of the Central Government, the support and companionship of the people, investors and businesses, Da Nang City will have comprehensive innovations, stronger and more sustainable breakthroughs in the coming time" - Mr. Nguyen Van Quang emphasized.
