Returning to Lang Nu in early December, after three months of catastrophic storms and floods, reconstruction work here is being urgently implemented.

Present at the large construction site of resettlement houses on December 6, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, construction activities are taking place very bustlingly.

Hundreds of workers, laborers and high-capacity machines are working continuously to meet the progress of handing over new housing to the people of Lang Nu.

Through observation, 40 houses of the people have been roughly completed, now only a few small steps remain such as installing doors, pulling the electricity and water systems to welcome people to move in.

Outside the house, traffic infrastructure and drainage are being constructed. At the same time, workers are focusing on building the final items, which are the community center and school of the resettlement area.

Looking at the sturdy houses that are gradually being completed, Ms. Hoang Thi Nong (Lang Nu village) could not help but be moved: “Thanks to the support of the government and benefactors, we are about to move to live in new, spacious, clean and safe houses. People are extremely excited and hope to soon have houses to stabilize their lives, and then start doing business.”

According to a construction officer, at the reconstruction and construction site of the Lang Nu village resettlement area, more than 320 workers and laborers are currently mobilizing, along with a series of construction machines, to work continuously day and night to complete the progress before December 22.

“The construction encountered many obstacles, especially on rainy days, and was very time-consuming. However, with a high determination, we will try to overcome the difficulties to bring the resettlement area to the finish line on time,” the officer added.

Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Nam - Head of the Political Department of Truong Son Branch 26, Army Corps 12 (construction unit) said: "The entire resettlement area of ​​Lang Nu village is now almost completed. Households have drawn lots to choose houses, when they move in, they will be given full red books. The construction unit is completing the community house and school project."

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Nam, due to the urgent construction progress, every worker and laborer is trying their best to work. The unit will basically complete the project before December 22 to hand over the houses to the people. The remaining small items, if not completed in time, will continue to be completed after that time.
