Investing nearly 18.7 billion VND to upgrade the road connecting the industrial park in Phu Tho

Phu Tho - The road from Thanh Dinh market to La Ban intersection - Thuy Van industrial park is invested by Hy Cuong commune with nearly 18.7 billion VND to renovate and upgrade.

Hy Cuong commune, Phu Tho province was established on the basis of merging and arranging the entire natural area and population size of Thanh Dinh, Chu Hoa and Hy Cuong communes of Viet Tri city in the past.

With the current administrative boundaries, part of the west side of Thuy Van industrial park currently belongs to Hy Cuong commune.

The project to renovate and upgrade the road from Thanh Dinh market connecting the La Ban intersection - Industrial Park route was approved by Hy Cuong Commune People's Committee from December 24, 2025 according to Decision No. 1256/QD-UBND.

On June 10, 2026, the Hy Cuong Commune Project Management Board (under the Commune People's Committee) issued Decision No. 25/QD-QLDA approving the adjustment of the construction cost estimate of the above project.

The estimate is adjusted according to the announcement of construction material prices in May 2026 in Phu Tho province and the price announcement of Vietnam National Petroleum Group on June 4, 2026. The total estimate after adjustment is nearly 16.7 billion VND.

In which, compensation, support and resettlement costs are more than 2.4 billion VND; construction costs are more than 13.6 billion VND; construction investment consulting costs are more than 1 billion VND; contingency costs are nearly 890 million VND; the rest are other types of costs.

According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on June 26, the Hy Cuong Commune Project Management Board issued a bidding invitation notice for Package No. 05: Construction of the project.

Package No. 05 was widely bid through the network, with a price of more than 15.5 billion VND from the State budget and mobilizing other legal capital sources.

In the near future, after the above-mentioned construction package completes the contractor selection, the winning bidder will renovate and upgrade the road with a total length of 1,695.23m according to the standard of level VI mountain roads.

The road has its starting point at the intersection with the asphalt road (Thanh Dinh market area), the ending point connecting the existing asphalt concrete road (road from La Ban intersection to Thuy Van industrial park).

In which, the section from the beginning of the route to km0+329 will have a roadbed width from 9.45m to 12.50m (roadbed width varies depending on the actual land location), road surface width 7m, sidewalk width from 1.0m to 2.75m on each side.

For the remaining section, the roadbed width is 6m, the road surface width is 3.5m, the sidewalk width reinforced is 0.75m on each side, and the drainage ditch width is 0.6m on each side.

Along with that, the bidding package will also construct items: Drainage; markers, signs; relocation of 0.4kV power lines; relocation of water lines; construction of lighting systems.

The completion deadline for the bidding package is 330 days from the date of signing the contract.

According to the investor, the project's goal is to complete traffic infrastructure, ensure synchronous, smooth and safe connection; meet the travel and transportation needs of people and businesses; contribute to promoting socio-economic development.
