During thunderstorms, people need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind at level 6-7 (8-17 m/s). Heavy rain can cause localized flooding in low-lying areas.
Forecast for the next 24-48 hours, a low pressure trough with a Northwest - Southeast axis will operate through the North and the central area of the East Sea. Above, the subtropical high pressure through the South - South Central Coast tends to gradually weaken. Southwest winds in the South Sea area maintain weak intensity.
In the next 3-10 days, the low pressure trough will continue to gradually move south through the Central and Southern East Sea, then weaken around May 22-23. From May 24-25, the possibility of forming a low pressure trough again through the central East Sea area. Southwest winds in the Southern sea area maintain weak to moderate intensity.
