Dien Bien province's surveillance camera system is divided into two types, including surveillance cameras, traffic control cameras and cameras monitoring security and order throughout the province. This is one of the component systems of the Dien Bien Province Smart Operation Center.
This system is deployed with the goal of providing a modern, effective tool to monitor, manage and operate, ensuring social order and security and traffic safety in the area.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu Anh Dung, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Dien Bien province, said that the public order and security surveillance camera system has 3 types, including high-altitude surveillance cameras with 11 cameras. Equipment is installed in districts, towns and cities.
Face recognition and crowd detection cameras have a total of 34 devices installed in public areas and surveillance cameras and traffic violation penalties have 19 devices installed at 3-way and 4-light intersections red in Dien Bien Phu city.
Along with that is a security surveillance camera system with 74 investment devices to monitor neighborhood security and order. In addition, the system also manages and integrates 68 surveillance cameras shared from districts, towns and cities.
"Putting the surveillance camera system into use is an important part of the strategy to build Dien Bien province, manage more effectively, respond faster to unexpected situations, and create a safe living environment for all people" - Mr. Dung emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province also affirmed that this is a big step forward in Dien Bien province's efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of management, administration, and management. especially ensuring social order and security and traffic safety.
Mr. Le Thanh Do also requested that branches and levels be assigned the task of effectively managing, exploiting and using the invested items. At the same time, guide, organize, supervise, and inspect the implementation of regulations issued by the Provincial People's Committee.
