According to information from the People's Committee of Van Don Special Zone, Quang Ninh Province, SG Chien Thang Trade and Service Import-Export Investment Joint Stock Company has just proposed to research, develop and develop a number of new tourism products in the special zone.
In particular, this enterprise presented the idea of building and developing an air-based experiential tourism model to admire the natural landscape of Bai Tu Long Bay through hot air balloon activities in Van Don special area.
This will be a unique tourism product, exploiting the strengths of Van Don's natural landscape, unique terrain and marine culture space, aiming to attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, especially domestic and international tourists who love to travel to explore and experience in the air.
At the recent meeting, listening to the business present its ideas, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Member of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Van Don Special Zone Party Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the creative ideas, proactive investment and research spirit of the business.
Diversifying tourism products and types is an urgent requirement to improve competitiveness, attract tourists and affirm Van Don's position as a high-quality island tourism center of Quang Ninh province, especially currently, Van Don is receiving attention from the Central and the province to build a new-generation special zone model.
Mr. Huy suggested that the company continue to study and complete specific plans on the content, location, scale and roadmap for organizing hot air balloon activities, while closely coordinating with competent authorities to develop plans to ensure feasibility, safety and compliance with local tourism and service development planning.
