On March 10, the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to build and operate infrastructure for Phu Xuan industrial park took place in Dak Lak province.
Attending were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee... and local departments and branches.
Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed a decision on the investment policy for the Phu Xuan industrial park project. The investor is DPV Dak Lak Joint Stock Company.
The land use scale of the project is 313 hectares, the construction site is in Ea Drong commune, Cu M'gar district. The project implementation progress shall not exceed 36 months from the date of land handover by the State.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Dieu, Head of the Dak Lak Province Industrial Park Management Board, said: "Currently, Hoa Phu Industrial Park and Tan An Industrial Cluster (Buon Ma Thuot City) have run out of land for businesses. The fact that the district borders the city to open a new industrial park will reduce the land fund load for Buon Ma Thuot. Thereby, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned tasks and requested relevant units to speed up the implementation of assigned tasks. In particular, it is necessary to shorten the implementation time to soon put the Phu Xuan industrial park project into official construction, completion and operation. Currently, the implementation of the project's work contents is basically following the schedule".
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, said: "When completed and put into operation, the Phu Xuan Industrial Park project will meet the increasing demand of businesses wishing to invest in the province. Thereby, creating momentum for socio-economic development, solving the employment needs of local workers".
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to closely coordinate with functional agencies and local authorities in compensation and site clearance. From there, promptly complete the procedures according to regulations to implement the project to ensure progress and full registration contents.

According to the plan approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1747/QD-TTg dated December 30, 2023, Dak Lak province has 5 industrial parks including Hoa Phu Industrial Park (330ha), Phu Xuan (313ha), Ea Kar (480ha), Ea H'leo (400ha), M'Drak (300ha).
