On the afternoon of September 2, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province announced that on September 2, in Ca Mau province, a fishing boat (CM 95253 TS) was sunk by large waves at sea, causing estimated damage of about 300 million VND, with no human casualties, and the boat is being salvaged.
In Nam Can district, heavy rains and storms damaged the houses of 8 households (6 houses completely unroofed, 1 house partially collapsed and 1 house partially unroofed), estimated damage of about 97 million VND. Local authorities have visited and supported households to overcome the damage and soon stabilize their lives.
Total number of visitors to tourist areas, attractions , and relics on September 2: 28,229 visitors, up 74.32% over the same period, concentrated in Ca Mau National Tourist Area, Hon Da Bac Tourist Area, Huong Tram Eco-tourism Site, Hoa Rung...; cumulative 43,866 visitors, up 56.77% over the same period (18,885 visitors). In addition, at Thanh Nien Square, the Provincial Children's House, some food courts and night entertainment spots in Ca Mau city attracted 11,150 visitors.
