Voters asked the city to pay attention to installing tap water pipes to people's homes so that people can have clean water for daily life and ensure their health.
In response to voters' petitions, Hai Phong City People's Committee informed that, currently, to ensure clean water for the people of Cat Hai Island to use, individual business household Doan Tien Thuy is using water tankers to supply water to customers. each household with prices ranging from 35,000 - 80,000 VND/m3. In the long term, the clean water supply to households will be stable through the water pipeline system.
Cat Hai District People's Committee surveyed and received high consensus from the people on the island to agree on the plan: invest in building water supply pipelines to households using socialized funds. Total estimated implementation cost: 14,543,165,000 VND, of which: labor costs: 3,721,237,000 VND mobilized from households on the island and received high consensus from households. Cost of survey, supervision, copper connection: 5,027,790,000 VND agreed to be supported by Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company. The remaining funding (cost of materials and construction machines): 5,794,138,000 VND will be mobilized for socialization from businesses.
According to the plan, Cat Hai District People's Committee is making efforts to carry out propaganda work and mobilize people and businesses in the area to join hands to contribute and build water pipelines to serve the people on the island.
