At noon on September 4, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the People's Committee of Giao Thuy town (Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province) said that a work accident had just occurred in the area while pouring a roof, killing a man.
Initial information, at around 6:30 this morning (September 4), at Mr. TVT's house (in hamlet 4, old Giao Tien commune, now Giao Thuy town, Giao Thuy district), a work accident occurred while pouring concrete on the roof of the 2nd floor. At that time, the concrete pump of Viet Tung Company broke and fell on Mr. LVT (born in 1966, in Giao Thuy district).
The consequences caused Mr. LVT to die on the spot.
"At the time of the incident, there were other workers on the roof but luckily they escaped," said the leader of Giao Thuy town People's Committee.
Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities were present at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
