Through the incident, Van Ban Commune Police advised people when traveling on National Highway 279, especially the section from Khe Lech bridge intersection towards Bao Ha commune, to reduce speed, maintain a safe distance and focus on observation because the road has many curves and steep slopes, and thick fog often appears at night and early morning, limiting visibility.
