At about 0:00 on May 6, the Fire and Rescue Police Department - Quang Ninh Provincial Police received a report from people about a truck overturning with license plate 34C-303.xx at km 9+900 National Highway 18C, section of Hop Thanh village, Tien Yen commune.
The driver, Mr. Vu Dinh Duong (born in 1985, from Hai Phong), was injured in the leg and trapped in the cabin.
Immediately after receiving the information, the unit dispatched 1 fire truck, along with 7 officers and soldiers to the scene.
The rescue force quickly used specialized equipment to cut balls, hydraulic cuts, lifting bags, hydraulic jacks to create space to bring victims out, and at the same time deployed fire fighting formations to prevent the risk of fire and explosion.
Also participating in rescue coordination were traffic police, Tien Yen Commune Police and medical staff of Tien Yen Regional General Hospital.
After about 30 minutes of deployment, the victim was taken out of the cabin safely and handed over to the medical force for first aid.
After the incident, the driver sent a letter of thanks to the functional forces, expressing his gratitude for the quick and professional spirit of the officers and soldiers in the rescue process, helping him escape the dangerous situation.
