On May 5, the Fire and Rescue Police Department - Quang Tri Provincial Police received a report from Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Department of Traffic Police) about an accident occurring on Highway CT01, Truong Phu intersection area.
At the scene, a tractor-trailer overturned, trapping 1 person inside the cabin under the vehicle.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire and Rescue Police force mobilized many specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly arrive and deploy rescue and relief work.
During the rescue process, functional forces closely coordinated with traffic police and local people, urgently approached the victim, successfully rescued him and took him to the Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital for emergency treatment.
According to initial information, the vehicle involved in the accident was a tractor-trailer with license plate 50E-596. xx pulling a trailer with license plate 72R-014. xx. When traveling to the Truong Phu intersection area (Truong Phu commune, Quang Tri province), the vehicle suddenly had an accident.
The victim was identified as Mr. N.D. T (born 1974, residing in Dong Xuan, Phu Yen), who was trapped under the car.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
