On June 11, information from Cao Bang Provincial Police, on June 10, a working delegation of the unit led by Major General Nguyen Quang Vinh, Director of the Provincial Police - had a working session with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Ly Bon commune on the socio-economic development situation, ensuring national defense and security in the area.
In the first 6 months of 2026, Ly Bon commune achieved many positive results. The total cultivated area reached 616ha, the output of grain is estimated at nearly 1,956 tons; the new forest planting area reached 70.5ha.
Budget revenue in the area reached more than 22.8 billion VND, equal to 47.56% of the year's estimate. Social security work was deployed promptly, and the security and order situation was basically stable.
At the working session, commune leaders proposed some contents related to personnel work, investment in transport infrastructure, grid electricity and conditions serving socio-economic development.
Speaking in conclusion, Major General Nguyen Quang Vinh acknowledged the results achieved by the locality, and at the same time requested the commune to continue to strengthen the building of a strong political system, promote digital transformation, effectively implement national target programs, develop appropriate economic models and care for people's lives.
On this occasion, the working delegation presented 480 million VND of funding to support housing construction for households in particularly difficult circumstances in Hung Dao, Ly Bon, Bao Lam, Yen Tho, Quang Lam and Nam Quang communes.
According to Major General Nguyen Quang Vinh, housing support for poor and difficult households is a practical activity, contributing to helping families stabilize their lives, feel secure in labor production and gradually rise out of poverty sustainably.
