On August 8, according to an investigation by PV Lao Động, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hà Nam Province has recently issued a document requesting the strengthening of environmental management and guidance on issuing environmental permits environment on the territory.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment proposes that the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities conduct a review and urge production, business, and service establishments on the territory that are subject to environmental permits to promptly prepare and submit environmental permit applications to the competent authority in accordance with Article 39 of the Environmental Protection Law of 2020.
Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of environmental protection laws and regulations for production, business, and service establishments on the territory.
Specifically, the People's Committees of Thanh Liêm and Kim Bảng districts are requested to urge and guide production and business establishments on the territory to promptly prepare and submit environmental permit applications in accordance with regulations; direct the People's Committees of communes to strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of environmental protection laws and regulations for production, business, and service establishments on the territory, particularly production and business establishments of building materials.
