Due to prolonged heavy rain, Nguyen Van Troi street and the area at the beginning of Yen So bridge are deeply flooded, not ensuring traffic safety. Hanoi Department of Construction has banned vehicles from passing through these locations and organized traffic diversion in alternative directions.
Hanoi Department of Construction has just announced a plan to divert and organize traffic at flooded locations in Tran Phu and Duong Hoa communes to ensure safety for people and vehicles.
In Tran Phu commune, Nguyen Van Troi road, the section from Km7+00 to Km7+200, is about 60cm flooded. Due to not ensuring traffic conditions, the Department of Construction requested to ban all vehicles from passing through the flooded area.
Vehicles from Ho Chi Minh road to Chuc Son are guided according to 2 routes.
The first route, at Km435+300 Ho Chi Minh road, the vehicle turns right into road 429, crosses Ba Tha bridge, continues on DT. 419 road to Chuc Son and vice versa.
The second route, from Km435+300 Ho Chi Minh road, vehicles turn right into road 429, to Phuc Lam intersection turn left along Phuc Lam - Ha Duc road, through Ha Duc bridge, then turn left into DT. 419 road to Chuc Son and vice versa.
In the direction from Chuc Son to Ho Chi Minh road, vehicles moving on DT. 419 road at Km31+00, passing Hoa Vien bridge, going on road 429 through Ba Tha bridge, to Mieu Mon and Ho Chi Minh road.
In Duong Hoa commune, the area at the beginning of Yen So bridge at Km14+350 on road 422 (old road 79) is also flooded about 40cm. The Department of Construction requested to ban vehicles from passing through this location to ensure safety.
For vehicles traveling from road 422 to road 421 and vice versa, functional agencies organize 2 traffic diversion directions.
In the first direction, vehicles from Ly Phuc Man street at the intersection with road 422 (Km12+800) go straight to National Highway 32, turn right at Km21+700 of Phung bridge access road, turn around at the Ba Dam Dang - National Highway 32 intersection. Then, vehicles turn left along Rang Nhan street - road 421 ( dike road) and vice versa.
In the second direction, from Ly Phuc Man street at the intersection with road 422, vehicles go straight to Thang Long Avenue, turn right at Km11+600, go to Km15+700 and then turn right into road 421 ( dike road) and vice versa.
The traffic diversion plan will be implemented from September 22 until all locations are no longer flooded.
The Department of Construction requested the People's Committees of Tran Phu and Duong Hoa communes to arrange on-duty forces, coordinate to regulate, guide traffic and propagate so that people can understand the adjustment plan.
The Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board is required to arrange personnel, materials, and equipment to coordinate traffic diversion and ensure traffic safety; and at the same time urgently overcome incidents and damage to traffic infrastructure caused by rain and floods.
The Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center is responsible for promptly adjusting the routes of buses passing through flooded areas, and regularly updating traffic information to propose appropriate plans.
The Department of Construction also requested the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police to coordinate in guiding and regulating vehicles at flooded locations, limiting the risk of traffic unsafety and congestion.
