    Update on ASIAD 20 medal standings on competition day 22. 9.

    As of 6:30 am today (September 22), the Chinese Sports Delegation continues to top the overall standings with 23 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

    Japan ranked 2nd with 8 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 12 bronze medals. South Korea ranked third with 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 15 bronze medals.

    In the Southeast Asian countries group, Thailand temporarily leads with 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal. The next positions are Myanmar, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam respectively.

    The Vietnamese sports delegation currently has 3 bronze medals, including Nguyen Hoang Minh Tan - Trinh Gia Nghi (Teqball); Bui Ngoc Nhi (karate); Nguyen Thi Dieu Ly (karate).
