Standing Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan has signed and issued a decision on approving the Urban Design Project for Thai Ha street, scale 1/500.
The scope of boundary research to develop a separate urban design of Thai Ha street, scale 1/500, belongs to the administrative boundaries of Trung Liet ward, Lang Ha ward, Dong Da district (now O Cho Dua ward, Dong Da ward after administrative unit arrangement), Hanoi City.
The starting point is the traffic junction with Lang Ha street (Northwest); the ending point is the traffic junction with Tay Son street (Southeast).
The research scope includes the traffic road section of Thai Ha street and at least 50m on each side from the outside of the red line boundary of the street. The boundary for urban design includes the traffic road section of Thai Ha street and takes out the entire land boundary adjacent to the red line boundary.
The area for studying and preparing the Urban Design Project is about 26.46 ha. The area of the land plot for preparing the Urban Design Project is about 11.98ha (about 119,862m2). The length of the route is about 1.27 km.
The project aims to concretize the orientation of the H1-3 urban subdivision plan at a scale of 1/2000 approved by the City People's Committee; in accordance with the approved plans and investment projects that have been and are being implemented in the area.
At the same time, propose solutions to organize harmonious architectural landscape space between the newly built area and the area for renovation and embellishment, urban reconstruction, without breaking the architectural space structure of Thai Ha street. Harmoniously connect the surrounding architectural landscape space, especially in areas adjacent to traffic junctions.
Along with that, research the synchronous connection of the underground and above-ground technical infrastructure system of the project with the general technical infrastructure system of the area; connecting investment and construction projects that have been and are being implemented, based on compliance with approved urban planning.
Proposing regulations on management and guidance on renovation and embellishment of works and highlight areas on the road as a basis for local authorities to manage architectural planning and investment and construction according to regulations.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Architecture to organize the inspection and confirmation of dossiers, drawings and Regulations on the management of separate Urban Design Projects for Thai Ha street, scale 1/500 in O Cho Dua and Dong Da wards in accordance with the decision; store dossiers according to regulations.
Assign Dong Da Ward People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Architecture, O Cho Dua Ward People's Committee to complete management regulations, organize the public announcement of the content of the approved Urban Design project for relevant organizations, agencies and people to know; review the contents of higher-level planning and urban design to update, ensure synchronization and compliance with current regulations.
Chairmen of People's Committees of Dong Da and O Cho Dua wards are responsible for organizing the implementation of inspection, management, and supervision of construction according to Urban Design, and handling cases of construction contrary to urban design according to their authority and provisions of law.
Relevant departments, boards, and branches are responsible for supervising and coordinating with Dong Da Ward People's Committee, O Cho Dua Ward People's Committee to implement in accordance with current regulations of the State and the city on planning and construction investment management.
