On the morning of December 27, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Phinh Ho commune said that a particularly serious traffic accident occurred in Ban Mu, Phinh Ho commune, killing at least 5 people.
At the above time, at km35, National Highway 174 (connecting National Highway 32), in Mu village, Phinh Ho commune, a 29-seater car carrying a charity delegation when moving from Hanh Phuc village to Tang Ghenh village of Phinh Ho commune overturned and crumpled.
There were 18 people on the car, currently the rescue force has taken 8 people out. Some victims are still in the car, currently functional forces along with equipment and machinery are mobilized to open and take the victims out. At least 5 people have died at the scene.
According to the Chairman of Phinh Ho commune, the area where the accident occurred was a long slope, possibly caused by the car losing brakes and overturning the slope.
Currently, all police, military, security and order forces, commune officials and people are focusing on rescue, and at the same time mobilizing machinery to continue to bring the victims out.
