On July 24, the City People's Committee issued Plan No. 195/KH-UBND on Organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival for Children in the City in 2025.
The plan aims to enhance the responsibility of the whole society in the work of protecting, caring for, and educating children. Organize a joyful, safe and warm Mid-Autumn Festival for all children, especially children in special circumstances, difficult circumstances, ethnic minority and mountainous children.
Mobilizing social resources, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to participate. 100% of communes/wards must have a plan to organize and ensure that children in special circumstances are supported and given gifts.
Plan to implement key activities, including:
Organize for children to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at 8:00 p.m. on October 3 (ie August 12 of the lunar calendar), 100% of communes and wards will simultaneously organize the "Full Moon Festival Night" program, with a scale of 300 children or more. The content includes: giving gifts, performing arts, carrying lanterns, holding a Mid-Autumn Festival tray competition... Hoan Kiem Ward was chosen as the City-level venue.
Organize communication, education, and social mobilization activities: Propaganda on child protection and care; prevention of abuse and injury. Diversify communication forms ( live, broadcast, social networks, television...).
Review and give gifts correctly and fully to children in special circumstances according to Resolution 25/2022/NQ-HDND. Mobilize more resources to organize activities to visit, give bicycles, scholarships, school supplies, savings books, etc.
Organize cultural, sports and folk games programs. Guiding children to preserve traditional culture, live healthy and safely.
Mobilizing social resources: Calling on organizations and individuals to support the organization of the Night Festival, giving gifts, scholarships, entertainment equipment...
Inspection and examination activities: Ensuring food safety, fire prevention and fighting, controlling toxic and anti-cultural toys. Strictly handle acts of abuse and violence against children.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Health (standing agency) to advise the City People's Committee on organizing Mid-Autumn Festival activities. Coordinate with the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward to organize the "Full Moon Festival Night 2025" event for children in special circumstances, children overcoming difficulties...
The Department of Culture and Sports directs press and media agencies to propagate against violence, abuse and accidents of children. Management and guidance on the effective use of community entertainment points, cultural houses, libraries, cinemas, etc.
The People's Committees of communes and wards will develop a Mid-Autumn Festival plan and arrange appropriate funding. Propagate policies to protect children and promptly handle cases of abuse. Reviewing data on disadvantaged children to find supportive measures...
