Recorded on October 22, many riverside roads such as Bach Dang, Le Loi, Hoang Van Thu... in Hoi An ward, Da Nang city are being flooded from 0.3 - 0.5m deep. Water overflowed onto the sidewalks and some houses, making it difficult for people and tourists to do business and travel through these roads.

Tourism, coffee and beverage businesses along the riverbank have temporarily closed, moving goods to higher ground to avoid damage caused by rising floodwaters.
Mr. Nguyen An (Hoi An ward, Da Nang city) said: "Bach Dang street is located near the river, and is low, so every time it rains heavily, the river water rises and floods. Business households here have all set up furniture and cleaned up their shops since the evening of October 21 to prevent flooding due to heavy rain.
The storm situation is still complicated, there has not been much rain, but the water level on the river is rising, so I and everyone have to take advantage of cleaning up the shops and close them early because if there is a flood like this, there will be no business".

The first time coming to Hoi An but right on the occasion of the storm, Mr. Peter (a tourist from Denmark) was not disappointed, instead, he considered this an interesting experience when coming to Hoi An. Instead of walking, he now chooses to take a cruise or cycle through flooded roads that are also worth experiencing.

In addition, Hoi An ward has also implemented tree pruning to prevent damage before storm No. 12 made landfall.
