The fire occurred on the night of December 30 at a beverage and smoothie stall of about 20 m2 on Tran Hung Dao street, Dong Hoa ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Di An city, Binh Duong province).
The deceased victim was identified as D.N.T (54 years old, from Thanh Hoa), who rented the above kiosk for business.
Initial information, at about 10:30 pm on December 30, a fire suddenly broke out at the shop, then the fire quickly engulfed the entire kiosk.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City mobilized fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
About 20 minutes later, the fire was extinguished, and many assets inside were burned down.
Checking inside the scene, police discovered that Mr. D.N.T had died.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated and clarified.
