On the afternoon of April 3, Mr. Tran Vinh Phu, Chairman of Quang Tan Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong), said that a fire had just occurred in the area, causing a house to be burned down. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.
Initial information, at about 12 pm on the same day, people discovered flames rising from behind the house of Mr. Lai Van Hai's family (57 years old, Tan Binh village, Quang Tan commune), so they shouted for help and helped everyone quickly escape.

After that, many people participated in extinguishing the fire, but due to hot weather and strong winds, the fire quickly broke out, engulfing the entire house.
Upon receiving the news, the Military Command and Police of Quang Tan commune quickly arrived and deployed firefighting measures.
Despite efforts to control it, due to the fierce fire and lack of specialized fire fighting equipment, it could not be extinguished in time.
The fire caused the house of about 100m2 of Mr. Lai Van Hai's family and all assets inside to be burned down and completely collapsed.
Currently, functional agencies are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire; and at the same time statistically analyzing the damage to have a plan to support the family to overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.
