On February 26, leaders of Dak Sak commune (Lam Dong) said that a fire had just occurred in the commune, causing a house to be completely burned down.
The fire did not cause any casualties, but the 2-compartment wooden house of about 60m2 and all the assets inside were burned down.

Previously, in Xuan Tinh 3 village, Dak Sak commune, people discovered a fire breaking out at the wooden house where Mr. and Mrs. Hoang Luong Viet lived. This house was rented by Mr. Viet from another household in the area.
When the fire was discovered, many people joined hands to put out the fire. However, because the house was made of wood, contained many flammable items and encountered strong winds, the fire quickly spread and engulfed the entire house.
After receiving the report, Dak Sak Commune Police mobilized 100% of their personnel, coordinated with the Commune Military Command and the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force of Area 8 - Lam Dong Provincial Police (stationed in Thuan An commune) to quickly arrive at the scene to participate in firefighting and overcoming the consequences.
More than 30 minutes later, the fire was controlled and extinguished. However, the entire house along with property and belongings inside were burned down.
According to Ms. H'Xuan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Sak commune, in addition to the house and property that are being statistically damaged, the fire also burned down more than 20 million VND in cash that Mr. Viet's family had saved to prepare for his wife's childbirth.
The locality continues to call on officials, civil servants, public employees and philanthropists to join hands to support the family to overcome hardship and soon stabilize their lives.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Trang - Head of Dak Sak Commune Police said: "Mr. Viet's family is in difficult circumstances in the locality, has 3 young children of school age, and his wife is pregnant. After the incident occurred, the Commune Police mobilized officers and soldiers to contribute funds to promptly visit and support the family with 10 million VND; and at the same time mobilized forces to help the family overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.
