These days, plum blossoms bloom white in Seng Sui village, Lung Phinh commune. From the center of Bac Ha commune, tourists travel about 10 km along the inter-communal road to the flower viewing point.
In mid-January, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the entire Bac Ha plateau shone brightly in the pure white color of plum blossoms.
Across the hillsides, ancient plum trees bloom white in the sky, interspersed with the pure white color of pear blossoms, dotted by the deep brown of the rammed earth roof and the young green of the grass and trees that are entering the period of revival.
Plum blossoms in this area include two types of Tam Hoa plums blooming in January and Ta Van plums blooming right on Tet, creating a characteristic "white plateau" season.
Not only scenery, the Bac Ha plum blossom season is also the season of festivals imbued with cultural colors. In the space of white sky and flowers, the image of H'Mong girls in brilliant traditional costumes stands out like spring flowers.
All create a compelling contrasting color amidst the pure white background of plum blossoms. The cheerful laughter, the playful steps, and the shy moments next to the flower have become special highlights.
