According to Vietnam Social Security, localities are implementing plans to pay pensions and social insurance allowances in June.
According to the plan, 21 provinces and cities including Son La, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Hue, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ca Mau and Kien Giang will make payments on the first working day of the month. For June, the above 21 provinces and cities will make transfer payments to bank accounts today (June 1).
While 13 localities including Hanoi, Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Dong Thap paid on the second working day of the month, which is June 2.
In Hanoi, according to the regulations of Vietnam Social Security, pension and allowance payments through personal accounts are carried out on the second working day of the month. In June, the second working day falls on Tuesday (June 2).
Accordingly, beneficiaries receiving money through accounts will be allowed to transfer money from June 2. For the form of receiving cash, the Social Insurance agency coordinates with the post office to organize payment from June 5. The direct payment time ensures at least 6 hours per day.
At transaction points of payment service units, pension and allowance payments are carried out from the 12th to the end of the 25th. 6. If the payment time coincides with a weekend or holiday, the payment will be transferred to the next working day.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the June pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule continues to be implemented according to the plan of the City Social Insurance. Specifically, for recipients through personal accounts, money will be transferred from the first working day of the month, i.e. June 1.
For cash recipients, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office organizes payment at payment points from June 10th. From June 11th to 25th, payments will continue to be made at central post offices and district-level post offices in the area.
The payment time takes place during office hours and Saturday mornings. If the payment schedule coincides with Sundays or holidays, Tet, the payment will be made on the next working day.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance encourages people to register to receive pensions and allowances through bank accounts to reduce travel time, receive money quickly and more conveniently, and at the same time contribute to promoting non-cash payments according to the Government's policy.
Previously, in Official Dispatch 1343/BHXH-TCKT on the payment of pensions and allowances from the payment period of July 2025, Vietnam Social Security said that the forms of pension and allowance payment include: Payment of pensions and allowances through personal accounts; Payment of pensions and allowances in cash and setting of payment time of provinces and cities.
