At about 10:15 am on June 14, the Military Command of Quang Tan commune, Quang Ninh province received a report about a resident slipping and falling while climbing trees to find wild bees at the foot of Tai Voong Mo Leng mountain, belonging to Sieng Long village, Quang Tan commune.
The victim is Mr. C.A. T, residing in Tai Ly Say village, Quang Tan commune.
After receiving information, the Military Command of Quang Tan commune mobilized forces and vehicles, coordinated with the people of Tai Ly Say village and local medical staff to go into the forest to search and rescue.
After more than 1 hour of searching through the forest, rescue forces approached the victim's location.
Mr. T was given initial first aid, then taken out of the forest area by hammock and stretcher.
The family took the victim to Mong Cai General Hospital facility 3 for emergency treatment.
According to initial information, the victim was injured in the spine and heel area, and was hospitalized in a conscious state.
