Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia - Head of the Traffic Police Department, the presiding unit - said that the inspection was organized seriously according to Circular No. 115 of the Ministry of Public Security and Plan No. 114 of Hanoi City Police.

According to Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia, regulations, military, and martial arts are not only contents of periodic training but also a foundation contributing to building political bravery, discipline, regular style, and combat readiness of officers and soldiers.

For forces that regularly stick to the area and directly contact people such as traffic police, fire prevention and fighting and rescue, commune and ward police, proficiently performing command movements, ensuring etiquette and demeanor are of great significance in the process of performing tasks.

Speaking to direct, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen acknowledged the proactiveness and efforts of the Organizing Committee and officers and soldiers participating in the inspection.

According to city police leaders, although professional work is under high pressure every day, units have proactively overcome difficulties, taking advantage of lunch breaks and weekends to maintain training.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen requested that discipline training work must be linked to the implementation of the Code of Conduct in the Hanoi City Police force. Through inspection and rectification, in the first 7 months of 2026, the rate of officers and soldiers violating the code of conduct and working procedures has decreased significantly.

For the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue forces, performing tasks regularly faces danger, directly rescuing people and property. Meanwhile, traffic police must perform the task of traffic diversion and regulation in many harsh weather conditions.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen emphasized that to complete the task, officers and soldiers need to have physical strength, bravery and good military and martial arts skills. Therefore, training and inspection work must be carried out substantively, avoiding formality and movement.

Leaders of Hanoi City Police requested inspection teams to objectively and accurately assess the results of each officer and soldier. Cases that have not met the requirements must continue to be trained and re-inspected.
