This morning (8.23), the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police held a ceremony to receive 655 officers and soldiers, 20 cars, 44 motorbikes leading groups from 33 provinces and cities to the capital to coordinate the implementation of the task of ensuring security and safety for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (abbreviated as A80).
Attending the ceremony were Colonel Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security); Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia - Head of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department; representatives of the professional departments of the Traffic Police Department.
The increased force includes excellent traffic police officers and soldiers, experienced in leading regroupes, regulating and commanding traffic and nearly 100 specialized vehicles such as Toyota Camry cars, large-displacement motorbikes, Honda Gold wing... have been maintained, technically inspected, ensured safety, and ready to serve the mission.
This is not only a support in terms of forces, but also a great encouragement, affirming the responsibility of joining hands to contribute to the capital's successful organization of the A80 event.

Speaking at the assignment, Colonel Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department affirmed that the traffic police force plays a particularly important role in ensuring traffic order and safety, maintaining security and absolute safety for the A80 event.
In addition to the task of dividing traffic and regulating traffic, the traffic police also directly lead the delegations, absolutely protect the safety of domestic and international delegations and participate in parades and parades.
Colonel Pham Quang Huy suggested that officers and soldiers be strengthened, uphold their sense of responsibility, and strive to excellently complete assigned tasks. Immediately after the reception ceremony, officers, soldiers of the traffic police and vehicles were instructed to go to units under the Hanoi Traffic Police Department to carry out their duties from today until September 3, 2025.
The 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 was celebrated with many meaningful activities. This is an important political event, especially important, attracting the attention of international friends and people across the country.
