Statistics from the People's Committee of Hoang Truong commune show that currently, more than 1km of coastline is eroded in the locality. The above situation has been going on for a long time, but in the past month or so, things have become more complicated.
Faced with the above situation, recently, Mr. Do Trong Hung - Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and his working group directly inspected this coastal area. In addition, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also requested Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to research and quickly declare a state of emergency on natural disasters; Use the province's reserve budget to support Hoang Hoa district in building sea embankments to prevent sea erosion causing damage to people's property and land.
According to records, up to now, the authorities of Hoang Hoa district have temporarily handled the measures by spreading ropes, driving bamboo stakes and enclosing nets at the landslide location.
